So, to reduce Gerd or cough caused due to it, one can make some easy lifestyle changes. Such as:

  1. Sleep in a position that keeps your head raised 6 to 8 inches above the bed
  2. Sit or keep doing some kind of activity for 2.5 hours after having your meals.
  3. Avoid foods that cause acid reflux. Analyze your body after having the foods that cause GERD in your body. Later avoid those or limit their portions.

  4. Make sure to sterilize your bedding by washing it in hot water once a week
