  • 5 g onion, chopped
  • 1 g garlic, chopped
  • 20 ml of olive oil
  • 200 g canned corn
  • Salt, black pepper
  • 5 ml of jalapeno brine
  • 20 g butter
  • 30 ml of cream
  • 1 chicken breast (sliced), grilled
  • 1 fried egg
  • 100 ml of water


  1. Fry onion and garlic in olive oil for about 2 minutes, on low flame.
  1. Add the canned corn and keep stirring for 5 minutes till you can smell the corn in the olive oil.
  1. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and then jalapeno.  Add a little amount of water and leave it to cook for about 5 minutes. Let it cool and then put it in a blender to make a nice puree.
  1. Heat it again, add toned cream and butter along with grilled chicken slices. Garnish with a fried egg.

  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 450 g onion
  • 200 g poha
  • 15 g salt
  • 20 ml of oil (preferably olive oil)
  • 15 g curry leaves
  • 5 g green chillies
  • 100 g fresh coconut


  1. Soak the poha in cold water, strain it and keep it aside. 
  1. Soak a quarter of the almond flakes in water and toast the rest of them.
  1. In a fresh pan, take some oil, sauté some mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped green chillies.
  1. Now add soaked poha and almonds in it and then add the seasoning that we just prepared.
  1. Add the toasted almonds in the poha.
  1. Serve it hot with some coriander as garnish.

Smoked Salmon with Avocado Tomato Salad Recipe

  • 4 (175 g each) fillets of salmon, grilled
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 (minced) garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon zest 

For the avocado and tomato salad, you need:

  • 1 cup of diced tomato 
  • 1 cup of diced avocado 
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro 
  • 2 tbsp lime juice


  1. Put all the ingredients except the fish fillets together in a zip-lock bag and then shake it to mix them well. Add the salmon fillets and shake the bag again to marinate the fillets until evenly coated. Put the bag in the refrigerator for some time. This marination should take at least 4 hours.
  1. Make the salad in the meantime by mixing all the ingredients in a large bowl and cover it and let it rest till for a while. This makes the ingredients merge and the fruity aroma becomes more prominent with time.
  1. Clean grill and preheat the oven. Place fillet on the grill and grill for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  1. Serve the fillets hot in a plate with the avocado salad on the side
