- Green tea

For instance, quercetin has been shown to decrease DHT development in rats in combination with a widely prescribed medicine to manage hair loss. No research studied the effects of consuming onions or taking supplements of quercetin at the level of DHT in humans despite these encouraging findings.
Fenugreek is a common herb which has historically been used to help boost libido and relieve blood glucose problems, and it can possess anti-diabetic properties, that is known as Trigonella foenum-graecum.
Early studies indicate that fenugreek can help increase testosterone by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase, which adds to the benefits of reducing DHT levels. 4-hydroxy isoleucine, which has been demonstrated to normalize glucose metabolism, is the most well-known compound of fenugreek.

Preclinical trials have shown that curcumin reduces DHT levels by stopping the activity of the enzyme alpha-5. Even so, it remains unclear if these findings are for humans.
- Tea tree and lavender oil
Studies show that both lavender and tea tree oil may have powerful properties for DHT blocking. Research has shown that topical use of tea tree oil can block the development of DHT.
The topical use of lavender oil in hair growth was established in the mouse analysis. The study indicates that the data of hair follicles, hair follicles, and dermal layer density have been increased significantly, all contributing to an increase in hair growth.
